Responding to a Pipeline Emergency

Although transportation by pipeline is one of the safest modes available, it is still important to be prepared to handle specific emergency response requirements should a pipeline accident occur. Tallgrass’ primary concern in dealing with a natural gas or crude oil pipeline facility emergency is safety. Safe response to a pipeline emergency requires coordinated efforts by emergency response agencies and industry experts to provide the desired safeguards to ensure the safety of people, the environment and property.
